Animal Search: Classifying Animals
This is a wonderful interactive activity for younger elementary students to learn about classifying animals. The Animal Search activity uses questions to guide students in understanding the differences between mammals, fish, amphibians, and reptiles. Choose a guiding question and then sort the animals based on their physical attributes.

Dear Karen,
ReplyDeleteThank for a great post...and a great blog! :-)
I just tried the link to the animal classifying and it says I have to join the Learning Federation. I couldn't find any information about fees for the site.
Is it free to join? Do you use individual student accounts?
Thanks for your help!

Linda,
ReplyDeleteThanks for your post. I changed the link so that the activity opens correctly. Some of the activities such as this one are free from the Learning Federation. Enjoy.
